A book chapter by Dr. Tyrone Bynoe, associate professor of Education and director of the Educational Leadership program, and Dr. Genelle Morris, superintendent of the Olean City School District and an adjunct instructor at SBU, has been accepted for publication in a book titled "Problems of Practice: Case Studies on the Superintendency," scheduled for release in the summer of 2025.
The book chapter is titled "A Case Study on New School Superintendent Transition." Morris, the chapter's lead author, and Bynoe were invited to contribute by the book's editor, Dr. Nicole Schilling of the University of Findlay in Ohio.
In addition, Bynoe has been appointed editor for two sections of the International Handbook on Governance, Leadership, Administration and Management in Education (IH-GLAME), an emerging volume of global scholarship on administration and school leadership.
Bynoe is the only scholar appointed editor for two sections of this handbook, which is scheduled for publication by Springer this year. The senior editor of IH-GLAME is Dr. Stephan Huber, deputy head of the Education Department at Johannes Kepler University, Linz, Austria
